Industrial Manlifts, an aerial work platform specialist helping aviation clients determine how best to consolidate resources and save time, has today announced the availability of a new Helicopter Maintenance Canopy (C.A.M.), designed to help prevent overexposure to the elements, particularly when maintenance and other maintenance-related functions are being carried out.
According to Industrial Manlifts’ President and spokesperson, Peter Vasquez, the new canopy replaces the use of other more heavy and bulky covers.
“However, there’s no denying that heavier and bulkier covers can damage to aircraft equipment that can result in lost flight hours, lost revenue, expensive replacement parts and labor. The new C.A.M. prevents all that, and offers a whole lot more protection,” he said.
“Not only does this new Helicopter Maintenance Canopy allows mechanic to perform maintenance in all weather conditions, but it provides them and the aircraft from the effects of harsh weather,” added Vazquez.
The new C.A.M not only installs and removes quickly, but it does not interfere with the inspection of an aircraft. Even the tying down of the aircraft’s blades integrated very smoothly with the C.A.M.
