Boeing 737 Maintenance Tail Dock


Our custom built Boeing 737 Maintenance tail docks are designed to provide complete access to vertical and horizontal stabilizers, APU cavity, as well as AFT fuselage areas.


We can build tail docks compatible with the:

The aircraft maintenance platforms are generally comprised of left-hand (LH) and right-hand (RH) sub-assembly half-docks. Each half-dock consists of a main deck (stabilizer platform) located below three upper-platform catwalk areas, depending on aircraft type.


Features:



  • Constructed fully of Steel or Aluminium and low-alloy Steel connectors

  • Decking is manufactured Aluminium non-skid tread grip material unless otherwise discussed

  • A completely welded mobile structure with adjustable heights in the 24′ range unless more is required

  • Allows versatility both in height adjustment as well as low speed transport

  • Equipped with swivel casters, tow bars, swivel locks and parking brakes


Use during all aspects of aircraft maintenance, including aircraft jacking operations. Each half-dock can be adjusted in height by using lifts to get it to the desired position and replacing the pins. Similarly the main deck is height adjustable independent of the overall height of each half-dock to precision locate and follow the contour of the horizontal stabilizer of the aircraft.

CRJ700 Engine Maintenance Stand


Our CRJ700 Engine Maintenance Stands is made with vertical tubing that is one of the industries strongest aluminum. It is 6063-T832 which is a drawn port hole extrusion and has a tensile strength of 42,000 PSI. This is what makes our scaffold stronger than any comparable aluminum scaffold.


Our rungs, braces, platforms and outriggers are made from 6005-T5 which has a tensile strength of nearly 38,000 PSI. Our adjustable legs are made from 6061-T6511 that has a tensile strength of 45000 PSI. Finally all of our castings are made from A356-T6 that has a tensile strength of nearly 34,000 PSI. These stands are fully customizable.

The Post Protectors are an effective and inexpensive way to avoid incidental damage to rack posts, shelving corners, partitions, overhead door track bases, as well as prevent the serious personal injuries that can result from such accidents. Protect your stored materials as well as shelves and racks.

In general, it’s most economical to design your enclosure using panels that are 5-foot wide and 7 foot tall, incorporating narrower or shorter panels only where necessary. Or use convenient Vari panels to create incremental widths or accommodate non-square dimensions.



  • 13-gauge expanded metal construction features 1 1/2 ” diamonds

  • Adjustable floor sockets allow true vertical alignment.

  • Available, fully integrated solid or wainscot panels provide added security/privacy. Keep gear or stock out of sight.

  • Available extension panels can increase enclosure height up to 20 feet.

  • Available ceilings provide ultimate security against theft or unauthorized access.

  • Standard finish is durable gray enamel. Special colors are available.


Doors


There are two types of doors available: Sliding doors, which are 3-to-6 feet wide or swinging doors, which are 3- and 4-feet wide. Both sliding and swinging doors are available in 7-, 8-, and 10-foot heights.



  • Either can be ordered with an integrated 3′ 10″ x 18″ service window and a 12″ steel shelf.

  • Security opening accommodates various types of locks.

  • 13-gauge expanded metal construction features 1 1/2 ” diamonds

  • Available integral 18-gauge wainscot or steel panels for added security/privacy.


Double-slide or double-swing doors are available to accommodate transit of larger equipment.


Locking Systems

  • Pickproof, reversible multi-lock has welded door-keeper and high impact die cast aluminum case.

  • Five pin, 1″ standard cylinder is secured by nut inside lock.

  • Brass cylinder, tongues, and recessed knurled operating knob.
